SUMMARY:18th Annual Craig D. Deuth Walk to Remember
DESCRIPTION:Craig D. Deuth started this walk eighteen years ago to raise money for cancer research. His family has kept it going every year since — same park\, same weekend in November\, sixty-odd people showing up in the cold because they wouldn’t miss it. \nThis year it’s Saturday\, November 7. Two stops. \n9:30 – 11:00 AM — 5K Walk\nCherokee Park\, 700 Cherokee Heights Blvd.\, St. Paul \n11:30 AM – 1:00 PM — Lunch\, Silent Auction & Raffle\nLakewood Tavern\, 9939 Hudson Blvd. N.\, Lake Elmo \nEvery dollar raised goes to the Mayo Clinic for cancer research. \nThe walk is an easy one — about three miles on paved park paths at whatever pace you feel like. Kids walk it every year. [CONFIRM: strollers? dogs?] \nWhen the walk wraps up\, everyone heads out to Lake Elmo. We’ll have the room set and lunch ready. The auction and raffle run through lunch. \nWAYS TO GIVE\n• Walk the 5K\n• Buy a shirt\n• Raffle tickets\n• Bid on a silent auction item\n• Have lunch with us at the tavern \nChecks go directly to the Mayo Clinic. \nYou don’t have to walk to be part of it. If the 5K isn’t your thing\, come straight to the tavern at 11:30 — eat\, bid\, buy a shirt\, put something in the pot. It counts the same. \nDonating an auction item?
